FSQ-106EDX

The Takahashi FSQ-EDX is a USA-modified version of the FSQ-ED normally available in Europe. The ED version is modified by replacing the capstan allowing rotation of the focuser with an assembly holding the focuser in a fixed position.

A (CCD) camera can be rotated by the addition of the Takahashi Camera Angle Adjuster. The instrument is mounted on a 3" saddleplate with wooden rings purchased from Teleskop-Service in Germany.

Here, the telescope is mounted on my Astro-Physics Mach1GTO.
