Startrails

 

The images above and below where made from Grand Champ near Montlaux (France) with a Canon EOS 350D and a Sigma 8 mm fisheye lens. The image above was made in the night of 11-12 August 2007 and contains 37 images of 5 m exposure each. A bright Perseid meteor was captured. The image below was made in the night of 12-13 August 2007 and contains 15 images of 5 m each.

The image below was made in the night of 13-14 August 2007 and has 29 images of 1 m each.

 


The following images were made in April 2001 from Montlaux, South-France, using a Pentax KM + Agfa Vista 800 film + Tokina ATX-PRO 80-200 f/2.8 lens, stopped down to f/8. The first image was at the 80 mm focal length and exposed for 2 hours. The second image was at the 200 mm focal length and exposed for 3 hours 30 minutes.

The picture below was made with a Pentax KM + Agfa Vista 800 film + Sigma 8 mm FishEye lens stopped down to f/8. Exposure time was 3 hrs.
