Comet 190P/MUELLER - (= P/1998 U2 - P/2007 O2)

Discovery


J. Mueller reports her discovery of another comet on plates taken by herself (with K. Rykoski on Oct. 22) with the 1.2-m Oschin Schmidt Telescope in the course of the Palomar Outer Solar System Ecliptic Survey.  The comet has strong condensation and a short, faint tail to the southeast.  ( Source: IAUC 7035 )


Recovery:

L. Buzzi and F. Luppi, Varese, Italy, report the recovery of comet P/1998 U2 , being slightly diffuse on CCD images obtained with a 0.60-m reflector, with confirming CCD images by P. Birtwhistle (Great Shefford, Berkshire, U.K., 0.40-m reflector).  Source: IAUC 8859
