Comet C/2020 F2 (ATLAS) - (astro.vanbuitenen.nl)

Discovery: ( CBET 4739 )

This object was initially reported by L. Denneau on March 21 on behalf of the ATLAS (T05) team as a Near-Earth Object candidate, without mention of any cometary activity. The next day, the object was detected by Pan-STARRS (F51), displaying a 2".2 coma and 4" tail extending toward PA 280. Prediscovery images were found by R. Weryk (F51).
