Discovery:  [ CBET 5311:  COMET C/2023 V1 ]

     J. B. Fazekas reports the discovery of a comet in survey images taken by Mt. Lemmon Survey (G96) on 2023 Nov. 2 UT, noting a condensed 8" coma. Prediscovery positions were reported back to Aug. 2023. Additional reports of cometary features are as follows:
