Discovery: IAUC 4787

R. Weryk reports the discovery of a 21-th magnitude comet in four 60-second survey images from Pan-STARRS 1 (F51) obtained on Oct. 20 UT.  He reported a diffuse 0".9 coma and asymmetric PSF toward position angle  220 deg. Weryk subsequently found prediscovery detections in Pan-STARRS 1 and Pan-STARRS 2 data going back to Sept. 17. Additional reports of cometary features are as follows:
